This page is dedicated to our first RotaKids group. It will contain details and updates on their projects and events.
On Tuesday 1st October 2024, 40 children aged 7 to 12 at St Felix School became our first RotaKids group.
RotaKids at l Saint Felix School. RotaKids is a fun and exciting way for children aged 7-12 to make friends and get involved with important activities in the community whilst having fun and learning skills. We are immensely proud of these young children. 40 pupils aged 7 to 12 became the first members at a special school assembly. President Colin Coe and St Felix Headteacher Matthew Oakman presented them with their pledge cards and wristbands. We will then work closely with them to help with their projects and events. Hopefully, this will incentivise other primary schools in the area to join in, too.
On Friday, November 22nd, President Colin then had the great pleasure of presenting RotaKids President Hugo with their Charter Certificate at their morning chapel service. They are now officially members of the Rotary family. We look forward to helping them with their projects with advice and funding in the near future.
