On a beautiful sunny afternoon on the last day of January, President Colin Coe had the pleasure of presenting cheques for the money raised at the Christmas Day Swim. Representatives from the Sole Bay Care Fund and The R.N.L.I. were there to receive cheques for £3200 each.
Also, there was Reuben Digby and his family. Reuben was there to receive a cheque for the same amount on behalf of the Little Princess Trust. The amount when added to the £1200 that Reuben had raised himself, (not to mention the hair he donated) will provide more than enough to make 6 wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy.
