The street festival is part of The Southwold Arts Festival and will take place between midday and 5pm on Saturday 21st June 2025. The Street Festival will mark the start of the Arts Festival and full details can be found here. If you would like to apply for a stall, please carefully read the terms and conditions below and complete the application form. Online applications will close on Monday 5th May 2025 or sooner if the quota is filled. We aim for a balanced mix of stalls; therefore, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and your application may or may not be approved to maintain this balance and fairness. We encourage you to apply early. Please note; Completion of the form does not guarantee a stall position at the street festival. Payment is NOT required at this stage.


Terms and Conditions

  1. The pitch size is approximately 4 metres by 3 metres. You agree to not exceed this size.
  2. The cost of the stall will be £50, charity organisation stalls are free.
  3. This event is licensed by East Suffolk Council. To comply with license requirements, all stallholders and traders agree to provide copies of:-
    • A risk assessment covering all activities on your stall.
    • Public liability insurance (min cover £5,000,000) valid for the date of the event.
    • Food stalls – relevant food safety certificate/documentation. (If applicable).
  4. Details of all stallholders, caterers, and entertainment providers will be provided to East Suffolk Council, who may conduct site and documentation inspections on the day at their discretion.
  5. The sale of trademarked goods without licence or permission is not permitted.
  6. Your pitch will be available from 9:00 AM on the day and must be vacated by 6:00 PM but no sooner than 5:15 PM
  7. As the High Street will be closed from 9:00 AM, you will be supplied with a vehicle pass for your setup vehicle which must be removed from site by 11:00 AM.
  8. Stallholders must park in the car parks off the High Street, as vehicles will not be permitted on the High Street after 11:00 AM.
  9. All rubbish and waste material must be taken away and the site left clean.
  10. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to your property.
  11. You are reminded that this is an open-air event. Please allow for the weather conditions. A gazebo or similar is advised.
  12. Please note: There is NO electric supply available.
  13. Your pitch location will be decided by the Street Festival organisers. (Existing High Street business may set up outside their premises).
  14. You are required to follow the instructions of the official Street Festival marshals and/or Health and safety Officer.
  15. Payment is not required at this stage. If your application is accepted, a non-returnable payment is due by Monday 5th May 2025 at the latest. (You will be emailed details of how to pay).
  16. All money raised from the Street Festival stalls will go to Blyth Valley Rotary charities.
